I’ve been going through a pretty rough time lately. What can I say? Life happens. It seems to “happen” more often when you’re a prophet, but I digress. Anyhoo, in this rough time, I was reminded of the story of the Shunammite Woman.
Months ago, an acquaintance of mine posted a question on Facebook asking what toxic femininity was. I admit, I was baffled. I’d never in my life thought of the phrase “toxic femininity.” I struggled to consider what it might mean, so I googled it. And you know what came up? Toxic masculinity. (The nerve, right?!) Apparently, now you can google the phrase and this is what I came up with:
As I write this, it is the wee smas of the morning on November 6th. Just three days earlier in America, we had our presidential election...and we are still waiting for a decision. In light of this, the global pandemic, and other happenings that have largely plagued people in this most unexpected and uncanny year, we need to have a serious talk about prophetic responsibility. Recently a girlfriend of mine tagged me in a Facebook post inquiring about seducing spirits, what they were, and how to deal with them. Perhaps that was the motivation I needed to just go ahead and write this Facebook post-turned-blog post.
