Spirit-Husbands, Spirit-Wives & Stolen Destinies
This year has been QUITE a doozy! I have been in a process of deliverance initiated by Heaven and it has been a crazy, insane, exhausting, amazing, and powerful journey! In January while in a Clubhouse room hosted by Prophetess Shelia King, I heard Apostle John Eckhardt teach on spirit-spouses and incubus spirits. Now, I learned about water spirits also known as marine spirits several years ago. Probably a decade ago. Yet it was still a very hush-hush subject. I would hear or read it briefly referenced, but then the minister would move on to the next subject. And yet, I can truthfully say that I have heard the subject of water spirits and specifically spirit-spouses referenced more in this year than I have in my entire 35 years of life! Clearly, God is putting His finger on the subject!
The Water (Marine) Kingdom
4 Quadrants, 4 Queens
Allow me to first lay the foundation. I am on a crash course in learning about these spirits, but there are always so many revelatory keys I discover in warfare and deliverance. One of them is that Satan’s empire is divided into four quadrants. Logically (to me), this breaks down as such:
Air (Second Heaven)
Land
Water (Marine Kingdom)
Hell
While Lucifer (satan) is the ruler of the entire empire of darkness, each quadrant has its own rulers who answer to him. Bear with me as I break this down with my spiritual logic combined with teaching from Dr. Kimberly Daniels and discussion with Prophet Ugo Ezeji.
Air: Queen of Heaven (Babylon)
Land: Queen Jezebel
Water: Queen of the Coast (Lilith)
Hell: Queen of Hell (Bitch Antiquity)
I learned a key in warfare against Satanists years ago. When a lying spirit in the form of a beautiful woman appeared in a young man’s dream, it told him, “Desiree is jezeblic like the Queen of Heaven.” Some of you will remember that story from “Possessing the Air Waves and Pissing Off Witches.” It was truly below the belt and obviously untrue, yet here is the revelatory key: the Queen of Heaven is jezebelic. Yes, Jezebel is a spirit. However, Jezebel is also a model, a type, a tendency or inclination. So all of the queens are jezebelic, but only one is Queen Jezebel.
Queen of Heaven v. Queen Jezebel
I know profoundly powerful deliverance ministers who believe Jezebel and the Queen of Heaven are one and the same. I disagree because the Queen of Heaven or Babylon encompasses much more than Jezebel. Babylon is broad, yet Jezebel is very specific. (I encourage you to read my Jezebel’s Family Tree blog series.) Babylon consists of two primary wings: 1) marketplace (socio-political-economic) and 2) religion. Babylon is also situated on seven mountains or the Seven Mountains of Influence (Rev. 17:1-11), whereas Jezebel is much more specialized:
Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. (Revelation 2:20)
So the Spirit of Jesus told the Apostle John that the domain of Jezebel is sexual immorality and idolatry. While Jezebel and Babylon are inextricably connected, Jezebel issues from Babylon, is the prophet of Babylon, yet is not Babylon. Jezebel is the ambassador, emissary, and spokesperson of Babylon.
Queen of the Coast v. Queen Jezebel
The Queen of the Coast is another one whom deliverance ministers very dear to my heart believe to be Queen Jezebel. Again, I understand it, yet I disagree. We have already defined the domain of Jezebel in the last section, so now we will focus on the domain or nature of the Queen of the Coast. Note that I identified this particular queen as Lilith. While your more modern Bible translations do not mention Lilith, some of the older ones do in Isaiah 34:14. I go into great depth about this most fantastical of chapters as well as the various aliases of this spirit in my Dragon Lords post. Yet to summarize it, here’s a breakdown:
Lilith: Complete Jewish Bible, Darby Translation, Lexham English Bible, The Message, NASB, NRSV, The Voice, etc.
Lamia: Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition, and Wycliffe Bible
Vampire: Moffat Translation 1922
Night Hag: Revised Standard Version
Night/Nocturnal Creature & Night Monster: miscellaneous
My NKJV Chronological Study Bible has a phenomenal note on the spirit of Lilith, but alas, it’s in storage. *moment of silence* However, as memory serves, it describes this demon as a terror that both the Ancient Canaanites and Israelites feared. It was believed to attack postpartum women, infants, and men. When you combine this Bible note with the various translations, we can surmise that Lilith is the “mother” of every demon that sucks, saps, and consumes life, blood, or flesh. This includes, but is not limited to, the following creatures:
Lamia - (see also “empusa” or “empousa”) a hybridization of a human woman and a serpent; it can shapeshift from the form of a beautiful woman into a serpentine being; it seduces men and saps their strength in order to destroy them.
Vampire - a fanged, undead monster that sucks human blood; depending on the tradition, it can either turn you with a bite or if you drink its blood immediately before death it can turn you that way also; in some other traditions, those unfortunates who have been bitten turn into a ghoul. They are draining, sapping spirits.
Succubus/Incubus - a demon in the male (incubus) or female (succubus) form that typically attacks the opposite gender by violating them sexually in their dream life or waking life. (See spirit-spouse.)
Spirit-Spouse - see below.
Siren - similar to mermaids in appearance, these half-woman, half-fish sing songs that seduce and distract sailors such as Odysseus in Homer’s Odyssey to their death. The siren song is thought to be irresistible.
These are very limited descriptions. Yet suffice it to say, Lilith’s domain is seduction and destruction, and the two are inextricably connected. And again, Lilith, the Queen of the Coast or Waterworld or Water Kingdom—whatever you want to call this spirit—is 100 percent jezebelic in nature, yet it is not Jezebel in my estimation. And now is a good time to turn back to the Water Kingdom at large.
Spirits from the Water
While certain spirits such as Leviathan (Job 41, Ps. 74:14, Isa. 27:1), Rahab (Prov. 89:10, Isa. 51:9), Dagon (Judges 16:23 1 Sam. 5), frog spirits (Rev. 16:13), serpents (Luke 10:19, Ps. 91:13), and the dragon/hydra (Rev. 12) are directly referenced in Scripture (God does NOT like snakes!), there are many more that are not listed.
This is a good time to insert that just because a spirit isn’t named in Scripture doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
After all of the fishy, amphibious, and serpentine spirits that were uncovered in my deliverance sessions, let’s just say I have been pestering just about every deliverance minister I know to learn as much as I can about these spirits. Especially the Africans! LOL They have been very helpful!
Water spirits ARE real. VERY real. EXTREMELY real! The headquarters of the Marine Kingdom is thought to be either the Indian Ocean or the Bermuda Triangle. There also appear to be deep links between the Water Kingdom and Hindu gods/spirits. In fact, the Queen of the Coast is often depicted as looking like a beautiful South Asian woman wearing a Hindu-style crown. It is a highly intelligent, sophisticated kingdom. In fact, it appears to be the most diverse and creative and perverse of satan’s empire. Spirits from this realm consist of, yet are not limited to:
Seducing spirits (i.e. lust, immorality, perversion)
Sirens
Merpeople (mermaids, mermen)
Spirit-Spouses
Spirit-Children
Frogs spirits (lying signs and wonders, see Rev. 16:13)
Gods/Goddesses of the water and waterways (i.e. Oshun and other orishas)
In my own deliverance sessions, a spirit-husband, a doppelgänger (spirit of misrepresentation/impersonation) in the form of a water goddess, a monitoring spirit, a python, and other serpents were all exposed. And yes, the Queen of the Coast too. One of these days, I’ll tell my full unfolding deliverance testimony. Just know that we overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony!
These spirits are behind the production of:
Seductive fragrances
Seductive and perverse fashion trends
Certain beauty trends (hair, makeup, skincare)
Certain weaponry
Certain songs/music (e.g. “Montero” by Lil’ Nas; Beyoncé and “Sasha Fierce”; Nicki Minaj and “Roman Polanski”)
Demonic contracts, and more.
I wouldn’t be surprised if COVID-19 was cooked up in the laboratories under the water. And that’s not a euphemism! There are literal demonic laboratories in the Water Kingdom! Atlantis has nothing on the Marine Kingdom! Many throughout Africa and the Caribbean islands can testify of people who were kidnapped and taken under the sea—and LIVED! For years!—only to return to dry land after missing time. The Missing Time phenomenon is also very common in UFO and fairy-related stories. Now that the Water Kingdom has been sufficiently defined for the time, let’s turn our focus to spirit-spouses.
Spirit-Spouses & Spirit-Marriages
What Is a Spirit-Spouse & How Do They Operate?
A spirit-husband or spirit-wife is a marine spirit that claims ownership over the women (spirit-husband) or men (spirit-wife) in a bloodline and will not allow them to marry. It manifests primarily in one or two ways.
It is introduced through some sort of witchcraft ritual in either your waking or dream life (including sex or eating in a dream) as well as through a sexual soul tie such as fornication or marriage to a witch. You could be born into this inheritance, or you could have initiated it yourself. The initiation could be something you were or were not aware of, were or were not in agreement with.
The goal of a spirit-spouse is to prevent you from having a happy, healthy, godly marriage and from producing godly seed in the earth. And in many cases, it serves to prevent any divine combustion of favour that takes place when a woman marries her God-ordained husband (Prov. 18:22).
The general purpose of the spirit-spouse is to destroy your romantic relationships so you cannot get married. Relationships will end for no reason or for a reason that doesn’t really make sense. It can turn molehills into mountains. It literally works to influence your love interest against you or even threaten their life with an accident, illness, or literal death. However it happens, the goal is to present you as undesirable for marriage to that person for one reason or another. While this is the purpose of all spirit-spouses, these are the non-sexual attempts, even if they do cross over into violence.
Specifically speaking, although not in every case, spirit-spouses operate as incubus or succubus spirits that sexually violate you in your waking life or dream life. This could be something that you welcome because it comes in a familiar form (i.e. ex or spouse) or an attractive form (i.e. “man of your dreams” or ideal woman), or because you simply don’t know that ALL sex outside of marriage—including in your dreams, including with spirits—is demonic. So this could be something that has consensual sex with you in a dream in the form of an ex, a book/T.V./movie character, your favourite porn star, etc. It could also be a spirit that molests or rapes you in a dream or in waking life.
And please understand that just because it happens in a dream DOES NOT make it any less real! If you have sex with a spirit in your dream, then you literally had sex with it in the spirit! In intense cases, there may be scratches or bruises left. In extreme cases, there may be evidence of sexual fluids.
Should you manage to get married, it can do anything from creating strife/division in your marriage to turning your marriage bed cold to even killing your spouse. Matthew 19:6 states, “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” Spirit-spouses will work to do just that—put asunder; tear apart, divide and conquer—so that the plans of God for your life as it pertains to marriage and family cannot be fulfilled or at least fulfilled happily. Division and often, destruction, is the name of the game.
Spirit-spouses don’t mind if you have children outside of wedlock, yet they do not want you to be married and have children in your marriage.
They also operate as and or send monitoring spirits to track your progress and set you back romantically, academically, professionally, ministerially, and financially. They claim ownership over your destiny. They can literally lock and bury your treasure under the water.
But it gets worse! Spirit-spouses can influence and possess people! I have heard multiple horror stories of individuals who dated or married men who were witches and belonged to families of witches, and when the relationship ended—even if the man died—the woman was spiritually and naturally pressured to not divorce the man or separate from his family in any way. The women were monitored, threatened, harassed, and more by these men. It’s not natural. It’s not even just a narcissist or abuser. It’s a man who has literally become possessed by a spirit-husband that refuses to let their prey go.
I encountered a man who gave me a soulish prophecy. Twice in one week after speaking to him, I went to sleep and had a dream about him that was unsettling. He was trying to encroach on my space when I never authorized it. I soon realised, due to the nature of the prophetic words he was giving me, that the spirit-husband had infiltrated his words. What he was prophesying was in direct contradiction to my deliverance. A huge portion of my deliverance dealt with my marriage impediments, freeing me to marry. The false prophecy was trying to convince me that I could not fulfill the call of God on my life as a wife and mother. It was literally trying to get me to come into agreement with an inability to marry and produce godly seed in the earth. It was DIABOLICAL. And about a month later, I realised his actions were being influenced by it as well. Needless to say, I blocked him on ALL social media.
More recently, a friend of mine saw a vision of a giant boa constrictor and at the top of its coils was my pale and near lifeless body. Weeks before that, I’d had a dream that the spirit-husband came in the form of an ex-boyfriend trying to break up a happy relationship headed toward marriage. It even sent me a legal, authorized, ancient letter that vindictively claimed marriage to me when I hadn’t married him, and stated that even my rejection of him was proof that I still belonged to him. In my most recent deliverance session with Apostle Ivory Hopkins, he shared that he believed the boa constrictor was the illustration of the spirit-husband’s refusal to let go of me.
Spirit-spouses are deeply territorial, and believe YOU are their territory. They take their spirit-marriage covenant with you seriously, and do not take kindly to having those contracts broken. And some of them have been in the family for GENERATIONS and have gained strength in the bloodline with every new generation. They are familial strongmen assigned by the Marine Kingdom to your life and your bloodline. They operate by legal as well as squatter’s rights.
And the words “contract” and “covenant” are not figures of speech. Just as in my dream, these spirits have literal documents that are legal in the realm of the spirit. They use these documents in the Courts of Heaven to claim ownership over you. As long as you allow it or are ignorant to it, the spirit-marriage(s) will stand. Yet this does NOT have to be the lot of Believers.
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross… (Colossians 2:14)
Altars & Priests
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night until morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it…. And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out. (Leviticus 6:8-9, 12-13)
We have previously discussed that a spirit-marriage can be initiated or rather, activated, in a few different ways. Yet however it was given an open door into your life, understand that witchcraft is present and that there is a demonic altar that has been erected against your life and your marriage.
When we look at Leviticus 6, we see that an altar requires a priest to tend it and more specifically, to make sure that the sacrifices are on the altar all night as well as making sure the fire never goes out. I find it fascinating that Moses stated, “The burnt offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night until morning...” Due to its characterization of darkness, the night is typically seen as a high time for witchcraft.
“When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” (Luke 22:53 NKJV)
“...But this is your hour—when darkness reigns.” (Luke 22:53 NIV)
“...But in the darkness of night you have now found your time, for it belongs to you and to the prince of darkness.” (Luke 22:53 TPT)
“...But this is your moment—the time when Satan’s power reigns supreme.” (Luke 22:53 TLB)
The hours between 6pm and 6am (6pm-9pm, 9pm-12am, 12am-3am, 3am-6am) are considered the night watch hours. 12am to 3am are understood to be the highest time of the night for witchcraft. And the Word of God says that there was to be a sacrifice on the altar all night. And the fire on the sacrifice on the altar is not allowed to go out. However holy altars and pagan altars may vary, understand that an altar always requires a priest to maintain it. Period.
This means that there is someone who is living and breathing—perhaps in your family, perhaps not—who is maintaining an evil altar against your marriage. In fact, the evil priest may actually BE the evil altar that is erected against you. In the same way we are meant to be living tabernacles and sacrifices unto the Lord, a witch may choose to offer themselves as an evil altar continually burning against you. They have likely dedicated their life to destroying your marriage—if not your whole life—and may even have dedicated their whole life to afflicting and even destroying your bloodline in this way. This would be particularly effective if it is a bloodline witch—someone who shares your blood. The same people who have these evil altars erected against them also often have their ability to achieve and make money attacked and blocked as well in various ways.
You cannot separate the evil altar from the witch who is dedicated to maintaining the altar. As long as the witch lives and is dedicated to their purpose, they will continue to maintain altars against you. There is a very real reason why God stated, “Suffer not a witch to live” (Exo. 22:18). But I’ll leave that alone. This all brings me to my next point.
Monitoring Spirits
This topic really deserves its own book, yet I will try to condense this subject for you. A monitoring spirit is a spirit assigned to watch, survey, and keep tabs on a person or a family. It can operate through a person (e.g. witch), an animal (i.e. insect, bird, etc.), or as the disembodied spirit that it is.
Monitoring spirits operate through and in conjunction with the witch who is maintaining the altar against you. This monitoring can happen in various ways. Some of them include:
Mirrors: conjuring your image in a mirror (mirror magic)
Crystal Balls: conjuring your image in a crystal ball
Water Surfaces: conjuring your image on the face of the water such as basins, cauldrons, springs, lakes, etc.
Familiars: using an animal as your eyes; this may include household pets such as dogs or cats as well as birds, strays, insects, lizards, etc.
Social Media: stalking your profiles, posts, and stories
Checking In: visiting, calling, texting, DMing, and messaging you for the 411 any new developments/updates
Stalking: literally spying on you in the natural; conveniently “running into you” as you go about your day; showing up on various places to intimidate you
Astral-Projection: soul travel that enables them to spy on you in the spirit realm; they can survey, cause mischief, and cast spells in this form
Here are some scriptural examples of monitoring spirits:
Do not curse the king, even in your thought;
Do not curse the rich, even in your bedroom;
For a bird of the air may carry your voice,
And a bird in flight may tell the matter.
The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him. (Psalm 37:32)
Those also who seek my life lay snares for me; Those who seek my hurt speak of destruction, And plan deception all the day long. (Psalm 38:12)
Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me. (Psalm 41:9)
They gather together, They hide, they mark my steps, When they lie in wait for my life. (Psalm 56:6)
Deliver me from my enemies, O my God;
Defend me from those who rise up against me.
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity,
And save me from bloodthirsty men.
For look, they lie in wait for my life;
The mighty gather against me,
Not for my transgression nor for my sin, O Lord.
They run and prepare themselves through no fault of mine.
You will not be afraid of the terror of night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction (sudden death) that lays waste at noon.
For my enemies speak against me;
And those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together,
Saying, “God has forsaken him;
Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.”
For I heard many mocking:
“Fear on every side!”
“Report,” they say, “and we will report it!”
All my acquaintances watched for my stumbling, saying,
“Perhaps he can be induced;
Then we will prevail against him,
And we will take our revenge on him.”
“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’” (Luke 11:24)
“If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.” (Genesis 4:7 NASB)
While monitoring spirits in general can have different purposes, the overall purpose of any monitoring spirit attached to any altar against your marriage is to track your romantic relationships and any progress that is made, so it can report back to the spirit-husband and or witch who summoned it. And as indicated earlier, these spirits can cause mischief and even speak curses into the atmosphere and on their intended prey. They MUST be dealt with.
There may be other water spirits operating in conjunction with the spirit-husband as well. This is why discernment and revelation is needed in the deliverance journey. Now, let’s discuss FREEDOM!!!
How to Be Freed from a Spirit-Spouse
Having a spirit-spouse does not mean that you’re possessed or even that you opened the door to it. It just means you are being afflicted or tormented and bound in some way, and Jesus desires to set you free!
Just know this: spirit-husbands are strongmen. They are very jealous, possessive, controlling, and violent. It requires the Strongerman, Holy Ghost, to bind him and plunder his goods.
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils. (Luke 11:21-22)
Just know that the spirit-husband will come back around to try and re-establish the covenant with you, and to intimidate you out of your freedom. BUT YOU ARE FREE!!! He’s just doing what demons do.
“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” (Luke 11:24-26)
Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time. (Luke 4:13)
Be prepared for their warfare to intensify as yours does. This deliverance is not “one and done.” You can’t just pray or fast for three days and think it’s over. You can’t expect something that’s been there for a decade, a lifetime, or generations to just bounce. Yet if you remain steadfast, continue to war, continue to move in your freedom, and continue to resist the devil, he WILL flee from you.
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
Just remember that every demonic marriage certificate, every evil ordinance, and every accusation against you has to bow to the name of Jesus and can be overturned by the Judge of the Universe!
