Exploring Jezebel's Family Tree: Son Homosexuality (The Eunuch Spirit), Part II
We are continuing with the Exploring Jezebel’s Family Tree blog series. To meet her parents, personalities, siblings, and children thus far, please see here. In the last installment of this series, we met Homosexuality: The Eunuch Spirit and we are continuing our acquaintance with this son of Jezebel today.
Removing the Potential of Reproduction
Now we’re getting to the nitty gritty. This eunuch spirit of homosexuality cuts off a person’s God-given ability to reproduce. In both the ancient and modern world, the cutoff is literal, even if the methods differ. But listen to this expert from the “Eunuch” Wikipedia Page:
From ancient times until the Sui Dynasty, castration was both a traditional punishment (one of the Five Punishments) and a means of gaining employment in the Imperial service. Certain eunuchs gained immense power that occasionally superseded that of even the Grand Secretaries. Zheng He, who lived during the Ming Dynasty, is an example of such a eunuch. Self-castration was a common practice, although it was not always performed completely, which led to its being made illegal.
It is said that the justification for the employment of eunuchs as high-ranking civil servants was that, since they were incapable of having children, they would not be tempted to seize power and start a dynasty. In many cases, eunuchs were considered more reliable than the scholar officials. A similar system existed in Vietnam.

They recently showed the Ethiopian Eunuch for the first time on A.D. The Bible Continues last Sunday and in that particular episode, Pilate, in a conversation with his wife about the eunuch, states something to the effect of:
“Do you know what this man did to prove his dedication and loyalty?” *makes a cutting signal*
Self-castration or even submitting to castration for the sake of political advancement is some kind of dedication! And while modern-day eunuchs may not submit to such physical pain in terms of castration, they certainly do sign up for a life of bondage to the demonic prince, Jezebel. The only difference is, they don’t know it. Physical eunuchs feel less than an un-castrated man because their “manhood” has been taken from them. And in the same spirit, modern-day eunuchs operate as less than because they are rejecting their manhood. It is a very literal attack on manhood. Jezebel demands utter and implicit loyalty from all of her eunuchs. “99 and a half won’t do.”
Prevention of Rival Seed (Heirs)
In this Chinese explanation of castration, it is said to show not only a deeper level of dedication (no wife or children to distract you from your royal duties), but also a sign that you are trustworthy in the sense that you cannot produce a line who may one day raise up and lay claim to the throne. We see that time after time in Scripture and history, the seed of one man rise up and take the throne for themselves. This is what Saul feared in David and even more so because David was anointed of God to be the next king of Israel. And by some stroke of “luck,” should a usurper (good or bad) succeed in taking the throne, they will have to make their mark during their own lifetime because no child will be able to succeed them. They will not be able to father a dynasty. Jezebel makes her own children, but will not allow her die-hard-loyal servants to have the same luxury and opportunity to make children in their own image, much less the image of God, instead of the image of her.
And as we all know, no pair or triune or any grouping of men can father a child together. They are full of seed with nowhere productive to put it. No man will ever be able to produce a womb. And no amount of women will ever be able to produce seed to put into their own womb; they are incubators with nothing to incubate. God created men and women to innately need each other on a spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and biological level.
Considered More Reliable
A servant who cannot procreate is more reliable. As we’ve established, it shows utter dedication to the master’s cause and prevents the servant from producing a line of rivals. Jezebel fears rivals, but God fears no one and thus, is not afraid of humans, made in His image and likeness, reproducing themselves. In fact, He told them to! Time and time again.
But the eunuch cannot marry or give birth to any lifelong distractions. The gay man and lesbian woman commits to someone who is in bondage, just as they are. And while they can try to adopt or procure an outside party to incubate their seed or produce seed to incubate in their womb, they themselves will never ever be able to produce a child through natural means--simply because they choose not to. Like literal eunuchs, they are surrounded by those who possess the same mindset as them in terms of sexuality and will not be alone in their misery. It’s easier to lie to yourself in a group of people who have also bought into the lie.
This blogpost has been really hard for me to write for some reason. I just haven’t been feeling it and haven’t been flowing as I would have liked; like I have on the other parts of this series. But I think, in this instance, it’s a clear indicator of the spirit of the Age. (Or one of them anyway.)
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (II Corinthians 4:3-4)
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. (Ephesians 2:1-3)
This false god and his chief officers with him have risen up and is casting his veil over the eyes of the unbelieving, and even over the eyes of some of the apathetic believers.
