The topic of today’s post is conflict resolution God’s way. In Matthew 18:15-17, Jesus lays out the prescribed method of conflict resolution for those in the Body of Christ.
I’m at it again: tackling that ugly stronghold of racism in America. Exposing that stronghold that many are happy to ignore. Uncovering the systems that most unfortunately helped shape this nation. And dealing with that which the traditions of man use to make the Word of God of no effect.
Okay, so I just watched Selma for the first time. (Yes, I know, I’m late. Please don’t chide me. Better late than never.) And this on the heels of recently watching the Book of Negroes Series, and Underground Series (the latter produced by Grammy award-winning singer and genius, John Legend), and it has me thinking.
We’re so grateful to all of you who were able to join us in prayer last night! We had a powerful time! My sisters Jessica Baker, Jenae McFarland, Charity Porter, and Gospel singer and Glam Camp for Girls founder, Melinda Watts joined me for this “shut-in” and boy did we pray! To be honest, I’ve NEVER heard my sis Jenae pray like that and we’ve been praying together for a LONG time! We’re so grateful to all of you who joined us for the entire time or even for a moment. And if you missed the call, then you can listen now! We know that there is no distance or time in prayer.
Despite some technical difficulties, we had an AMAZING time tonight. It was such an honour to have Cindy Jacob, Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, and Bishop Harry Jackson on The Round Table last night to discuss race relations in the Body of Christ in the nation. I would that more of us would risk being uncomfortable and unpopular to address the many grievances and wounds that have taken place in the black and brown communities over the decades and centuries. We cannot hope to properly deal with the issues if we were refuse to acknowledge them. Last night we chose to acknowledge them.
Many say, “Being gay doesn’t hurt me!” or “Gay marriage won’t affect you or your marriage!” More lies. They’ve bought into this deception. Perhaps if the LGBQT movement was merely a fleshly movement, it would not be as dangerous. But even as I type those words, I know they are untrue. Because being united in a rebellious, anti-God agenda is never good, nor beneficial to those involved nor the society in which it takes place. There was once a time where men rose up, united in their fleshly unity, to build something they thought was great.
Ladies and gentlemen, revival is coming. If you don’t know it, you’re either it just hasn’t hit your local church yet or you’re at the wrong church! In His Word, God left us many promises. One of those promises, made through the Person of Christ, is the coming of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call. (Acts 2:39)

You may be thinking a lot about witches right now. Hocus Pocus, Harry Potter, and all that jazz. I mean, Halloween is less than a week away.
Some of you may not believe in actual witches. (Even though they really do exist.)
Some of you may not believe in the power actual witches utilize. (Even though it’s very real.)
Some of you may believe that the power actual witches utilize can’t affect you because you’re a child of God. (In which case, you are more than likely very arrogantly, ignorantly wrong.)
And some of you may actually know the truth of these matters.
