The Spirit of Witchcraft

The Spirit of Witchcraft

It’s really easy to point out the branches and practices of literal, Occultic witchcraft. However, before it’s ever a spell, incantation, ritual, or hex, it’s a spirit.

This means that far more of us are guilty of witchcraft than we realise.

2 TYPES OF WITCHES

Just as there are two primary types of witchcraft, there are two primary types of witches.

1. BLIND WITCHES.

Now when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and looked through a window. — 2 Kings 9:30 NKJV

“Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye,

Neither desire thou his dainty meats:

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

Eat and drink, saith he to thee;

But his heart is not with thee.

The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up,

And lose thy sweet words.”

— ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭23:6-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Blind witches are jezebelic; they operate in the spirit of witchcraft.

It is important to note that the spirit of Jezebel is not the spirit of witchcraft; the spirit of Jezebel wields witchcraft.

Witchcraft is all about control and that consists of three primary categories:

  1. Manipulation

  2. Intimidation

  3. Domination

Jezebel’s modus operandi is extremely similar:

  1. To Sway/Seduce You

  2. To Scare You

  3. To Slay You

So Jezebel spends their time either consciously or subconsciously manipulating, intimidating, and or dominating. A narcissist is an EXCELLENT example of a blind witch. They don’t know they’re a witch, yet they do know how they move and what they’re about. They just don’t view it as or understand or care that it’s witchcraft.

It is also important to note that the line can be blurred between the two—blind v. conscious—such as a seductress who goes to a witch doctor to procure a love spell or a manipulator who tells their family member to work a root on someone who is presenting problems to them. They might not have worked the sorcery themself, yet they were in full agreement with it.

It’s also a SMALL leap between being a blind witch and a conscious witch.

Finally, it is important to note that those who are blind witches/warlocks/narcissists often come from families who operate in the spirit or practice of witchcraft.

2. CONSCIOUS WITCHES.

“Then Saul said to his servants, ‘Find me a woman who is a medium, that I may go to her and inquire of her.’ And his servants said to him, ‘In fact, there is a woman who is a medium at En Dor.’ So Saul disguised himself and put on other clothes, and he went, and two men with him; and they came to the woman by night. And he said, ‘Please conduct a séance for me, and bring up for me the one I shall name to you.’” — ‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭28:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time.”

— ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:9-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Conscious witches are those who willingly operate in sorcery and or divination. There are many branches/brands of this such as:

  • Obeah

  • Ife

  • Voodoo

  • Hoodoo/Root-working/Conjuring

  • JuJu

  • Santeria

  • Brujeria

  • Shamanism

  • Druidry

  • Wicca

  • New Age

  • Kabbalah

  • Satanism

Formal witchcraft a.k.a. magick also comes in many forms identified often by colour such as:

  • White Magick

  • Green Magick

  • Rainbow Magick

  • Black Magick

For example, a green witch, similar to a kitchen witch, is one who works with greenery: flowers, herbs, etc.—nature itself—to create poultices, potions, and the like for good or bad purposes. Yet the vast majority of green witches and kitchen witches use their magick with the intent to do good such as healing the sick. For instance, these earthy witch types have their own version of the Hippocratic Oath which states:

“An ye harm none, do what ye will.”

— Wiccan Rede

Generally speaking, a formal witch may be male or female, young or old, black or white, kind or mean, well-intentioned or ill-intentioned, and anything in between.

And while a formal witch may attempt to control elements and outcomes, they may very well not be at all concerned with controlling people and relationships like a narcissist/Jezebel.

I want to be clear that the intent of the witch does indeed matter, yet it does not stop witchcraft from being witchcraft and therefore, evil.

So now that that’s out of the way…
