Shields Up: Calling the Watchmen to Awaken Their Discernment

The prophets have given the “shields up” warning before and now, I give issue it again.

SHIELDS UP!!!!

At the time of my writing this, a young white man named Dylann Roof just recently walked into a black church in Charleston, South Carolina--Emanuel AME Church--was welcomed into their fold, and one hour later, sprayed them, killing nine. When asked why he wanted to shoot the congregation, he simply said:

I have to do it. You rape our women and you're taking over our country. And you have to go.”

He later added:

“Y'all want something to pray about? I'll give you something to pray about.”

These things should not be so.

But they are.

This week we’re heartbroken over the loss of lives. A week before that, we were bewildered and even laughing over Rachel Dolezal’s evident confusion. The week before that, we were just at a loss for words--or had too many words to say, over Bruce Jenner’s “transformation” to “Caitlyn.” What will happen next week? Lord only knows.

Dylann was right about one thing: this is something to pray about.

We must have our shields up.

Who Left the Back Door Open?

The other day on Facebook, I asked a profound question, “Where was the discernment at Emanuel AME Church in South Carolina that should have told them a killer was in their midst??”

Why did no one know?

What was preventing them from knowing?

Would they know if someone like that came amongst them again?

Who left the back door open?

What happened to Emanuel AME is absolutely terrible. Tragic. And demonic. Thus, why did no one know what was coming?

What spirit was reigning in that church? Was it God’s Spirit or another?

If God’s Spirit was present, then where were the intercessors and experienced Mothers in Zion who should have been troubled in their spirits over the young man?

Why could no one see with their natural, much less spiritual eyes, that something was obviously wrong with Dylann Roof?

Ladies and gentlemen, this is NOT the will of the Lord. It is the will of Satan. And while what the devil meant for evil was used for good, as an opportunity to show the genuine love and forgiveness of God to Roof, this thing should NOT have taken place. It was NOT the will of the Lord and I say that with fierce assurance.
