The Mandate Against Your Children: Abortion in America
During the life of Moses, Pharaoh put out a mandate against the Israelite children ordering all Egyptians to kill every male child in Goshen. Fast forward to the birth of Jesus where we see this mandate repeated by Herod the Great in Bethlehem. This was a terrible time in history and one would think that with all of our advanced intelligence and shunning of barbaric behaviors we would no longer allow the massacre of innocent children. Not so. There is a new mandate against your children and this Pharaoh goes by the name of Planned Parenthood.
The Truth about Planned Parenthood
A couple years ago, I was driving around my city. In chic, thriving Downtown, there is a lovely fertility center for those who wish to have children. Across town, planted smack dab in the middle of the ghetto, is Planned Parenthood. The set-up is likely the same in your own city.
Now think about this for a moment. What kind of people live in the fancy condos and homes near any given metropolis? Comfortable young adults and families who have nice cars, chic homes, and great jobs. They are also predominantly White. Now who lives in the ghetto? Predominantly Blacks and Latinos, struggling, surrounded by unemployment and minimum wage jobs, criminal activity, and all-around destitution.
One could say, “Well you wouldn’t put a fertility clinic in the ghetto. They can’t afford the services!” True. But along with that, let’s ponder why there is no Planned Parenthood in the thriving parts of a town. The signal is clear: one set of people is considered desirable and encouraged to reproduce while another set is considered undesirable and discouraged from reproducing. And guess what?? The message is working.
