You may have heard me say this before, but for the benefit of this post, I’ll say it again: there are some SHOCKING similarities between Islam and Mormonism. And apparently, I’m not the first one to come to this conclusion. Kinda makes you wonder where the (false) prophet, Joseph Smith, REALLY got his stuff from huh? But let’s just jump straight to the truth about these two great deceptions that are Islam and Mormonism. Diving in.
Polygamy. Polyandry. Religious works. Secret rituals. Blood atonement (and we ain't talkin' about Jesus or no animals!!). What's Mormonism a.k.a. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints really about? This is the testimony of former Mormon elder, Todd K. Olson. After years steeped in learning and propagating the Mormon (LDS) religion, he has since turned to Christ and has since been styling to become a Christian minister. In his own words: "Make no mistake about this. Mormonism is a cult." I have several dear Mormon friends. Friends that I met through choir in high school in California. They are some of the kindest, sweetest, dearest people I've ever met in my life. But they are deceived. Perhaps you think me unkind to state that. Undoubtedly, feelings are hurt when I say things like that. That is not my intention. But in the words of my spiritual father, "I'd rather you be offended, then you go to Hell!" I pray these will plant seeds that grow bountifully in the hearts of my Mormon friends and acquaintances and also that other Christians may learn the truth of this Christians counterfeit so they do not fall prey to it themselves and also so they can share the truth and love of God with another.

No. I could waste a lot of time, energy, and space expressing to you the varying opinions of this debate. I could tell you how it’s easy to mistake Mormons for Christians if you don’t know any better. I could spend time listing their good works, but really, why?
If you haven’t already figured this out about me, know this: I HATE, LOATHE, AND DESPISE deception!!! I hate, loathe, and despise ignorance as well. In a world rife with technology, how is it possible that it is also rife with ignorance and deception? Perhaps that answer would depend on the subject matter being specifically discussed. Perhaps people are lazy and apathetic (many are). But regarding this particular discussion, I submit that people simply do not truly 1) know God or 2) their Word like they think they do.

Okay, so technically, this isn't actually part of the sermon series, but it's on-topic so I wanted to include it anyway. *smile* All of the spirits have the potential to be a stronghold in your life, family, and ministry, so I wanted to be sure and include it. The following is a prophetic word for 2015 given by Prophetess Cynthia Thompson of Eternal Change Ministries. We have entered into God’s time calendar of divine release. The years beginning in 2014 and ending in -2015 mark the completion or fulfillment of the seven year cycles of God, which will bring us into our Jubilee year which is also known as the great Shemitah year. A Shemitah year happens every seven years on the calendar of God for the purpose of releasing and freeing people from debt and captivity. A great Shemitah year occurs when seven times seven Sabbath years which equal 49 years have been fulfilled to bring us into the beginning of Jubilee.

I am the furthest thing from a race-baiter. In fact, some more uninformed individuals might even accuse me of being the opposite. Others have stated that I am “unbalanced.” Here’s the deal. I say exactly what I feel needs to be said, to who I feel it needs to be said, in the way I feel it needs to be said, when I feel led to say it. Sometimes that leading is of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes that leading is from my own (informed) feelings. And sometimes, just sometimes, that leading is from my flesh. *cringe* But I always try to keep my “rants” Jesus-centered.

When you have spirits that control the power of the air waves--and they possess that--they have territorial dominance because they have advantages in the air waves. So they are able to control traffic from this level. And the minute you start getting into the airwaves you are going to have trouble. So people that start a company that's dealing with telephones, or that's dealing with the airwaves in terms of radio, or television, or even the internet, you fight the kinds of battles that if you don't know what you're fighting you'll have problems because the airwaves is the way thoughts are transmitted. And the devil possesses the heavens so he can control the thoughts of men. So if you want to get into a business with telephones, walkie-talkies, internet, and all those things, it's not just about making money. You'd better know Who God is. Because you're going to fight battles that you think are unreasonable; they're not unreasonable. (Bishop Tudor Bismark, “Demonic Possession, Part II”)
From the Old Testament to the New, the prophets, the apostles, and the Son of God Himself, all warned about false prophets, false teachers, wolves in sheep's clothing. And obviously, if someone warns you about something, it’s because the possibility that the thing they warned you about will present itself sooner or later. Such is the case with ungodly spirits parading as godly spirits.
