The Problem with “Christian Mysticism”

The following is an excerpt from my new book, The Days of Noah and Lot: Uncovering the Perversions of the First and Last Days. I recently, I stumbled upon a Facebook friend’s post which divulged that she was a “mystic.” And at that point, I’d had it. Had what? Had it up to here with the enemy infiltrating the minds, hearts, and sanctuaries of those who either are or once were believers. This was once a woman of God, a woman who sung praises and preached at ministry events. Now, every other post on her timeline is filled with New Age adages.

When Jezebel’s Wounded Become Jezebel’s Prophets

When people believe that false prophets, psychics, witches, and Satanists exist, but refuse to believe that godly prophets exist, what they are really saying--without knowing it, of course--is that Satan is more powerful than God. But the devil IS a liar!!! If there is a counterfeit, that always means there is an authentic. Turn to the Word of God, turn off your bitter, wounded, resentful filter, and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal HIS truth, THE truth, to you, before it's too late.

Changeling: The Danger of Another Jesus

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world." (I John 4:1-3)

Exploring Jezebel’s Family Tree: Jezebel and Delilah

Previously we discussed Jezebel's parents, but now we’ll be discussing Jezebel’s multiple personalities. We know that the spirit of Jezebel is one that utilizes witchcraft--manipulation, intimidation, or domination--to justify her expected end. She does not seek the throne herself, but rather seeks the power behind the throne. Her seductions are tailored to her prey, not merely overtly sexual. And she is dangerous, patient and dangerous. If you want to learn more about this specific spirit--in this form--then you may see here, but in this post we’re going to discuss her lesser known, yet just as strong personalities, starting with Delilah.

Janis Hutchinson: Escape from Fundamental Mormonism

I’d like you all to meet Janis Hutchinson: blogger, author, and former Mormon. Janis hails from Southern California (like me!) and comes out of the mainstream LDS Church as well as a branch of fundamentalist Mormonism. Janis has kindly agreed to share her diverse experience in the Mormon Church with us to show was what the deal really is. You can read Janis’ full, harrowing tale of escape here and also check out her blog and books. And feel free to follow her on Twitter and Facebook. It’s a wealth of information. Be sure to stay tuned for Part II which will be posted in a couple days! Enjoy!

13 Shocking Similarities between Islam and Mormonism

You may have heard me say this before, but for the benefit of this post, I’ll say it again: there are some SHOCKING similarities between Islam and Mormonism. And apparently, I’m not the first one to come to this conclusion. Kinda makes you wonder where the (false) prophet, Joseph Smith, REALLY got his stuff from huh? But let’s just jump straight to the truth about these two great deceptions that are Islam and Mormonism. Diving in.

Are Mormons Christians? Part I

No. I could waste a lot of time, energy, and space expressing to you the varying opinions of this debate. I could tell you how it’s easy to mistake Mormons for Christians if you don’t know any better. I could spend time listing their good works, but really, why?

If you haven’t already figured this out about me, know this: I HATE, LOATHE, AND DESPISE deception!!! I hate, loathe, and despise ignorance as well. In a world rife with technology, how is it possible that it is also rife with ignorance and deception? Perhaps that answer would depend on the subject matter being specifically discussed. Perhaps people are lazy and apathetic (many are). But regarding this particular discussion, I submit that people simply do not truly 1) know God or 2) their Word like they think they do.

Open Letter to the Producers of Preachers of L.A.

Dear Producers of Preachers L.A.,

We need to talk. Seriously. First let me say, I AM a fan of the show. I watch avidly and will be conducting a written commentary (NOT a gossip column!) on this season for GospelToday.com for the sake of starting a positive, much-needed dialogue, so stay tuned if you so choose. And while I would not go so far to say that Preachers of L.A. is a “God idea,” it’s certainly a good idea. All this to say, again, I like the show. And I am in your ballpark, really.

Throughout this letter, I will present various points that I feel need to be addressed (as I’m sure many others do as well). Commencing with the Drama King himself, Deitrick Haddon.
