Here is an awesome Word of the Lord for 2017 from Prophetess Cynthia Thompson! And I’m just gonna tell you right now, many of you are NOT going to like it! But it is confirmation of what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the churches...if we would only have the ears to hear and the willfulness to receive it and obey. Hear ye the word of the Lord.

The Year of the Sword
A time of separation and accelerated blessings for the righteous!
Prophetess Cynthia Thompson is the co-pastor of Jesus People Proclaim International Ministries Church along with her husband, Pastor Billy Thompson. She is also the founder of Eternal Change Ministries and the Prophetic Training Center.
This will be the year of bloody battles. The sword of the Lord is being drawn to sever and cut away things that have had a grip on the lives of God’s people to frustrate their purpose and prevent progress. We will say goodbye to many things of the past as the Spirit of God resets us into new beginnings. Loses will yield us gains as we die to our flesh to receive a release of greater power and abundant living. I heard the Spirit of God say, “If we do not die to our fleshly appetites in this hour, those very things will be what the enemy uses to kill us.”
The Year 2017 or 5777 on the Jewish Calendar
The Lord is cutting away, from the souls of man, carnality and compromise. These entanglements, like weed, have been assigned to choke-out the spirit life of righteous believers to dim their lights and keep them from shining brightly in the middle of darkness.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didn't not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay, lest while he gather up the tares, yes root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. (Matthew 13:27-30)
In this hour, we shall see the separation for the gathering of harvest. There will be significant economic transfers as God pours out wealth into the hands of trusted warriors, who have fought to guard and defend the standard of righteousness and justice that upholds his Kingdom. These are kingdom days of war and worship, judgement and justice. The word of God and worship shall be our weapon of choice.
Matthew 11:12 says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now. the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violence take it by force.”
Great violence we shall see as conflicts increase across the land. Many church leaders and laypeople shall fall by the sword because they have touched God's anointing wrong. These shall be days like we have not known before. In the midst of great blessings perilous times shall come.
The year 5777 or 2017 has three sevens (7) in it. Seven in the Hebrew is the letter zayin which represents both the number 7, and the word, sword. There is a triple-edged sword being released that will cut with the truth of the word and the force of the spirit of heaven. Three is an indivisible, irrevocable number that is not easily broken.
Prophetically, three represents the full God head warring on behalf of God’s people. This year, the head of every Goliath that has stood to back up, bully and oppose the Body of Christ from stepping out into destiny will be cut off. King David carried a pure sound to confront and defeat an unclean, uncircumcised, and perverted spirit. This is the same that will defeat our enemies and bring us victory. The sound of purity and love through a righteous relationship with God and not religion.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the hearts. (Hebrews 4:12)
It is the word of God that is spoken from the dimension of the glory that shall bring supernatural outpourings with great manifestations of miracles as God heals and reveals the hearts and wicked deeds of many. Look for God to separate the sheep nations from the goat nations. There shall be much exposure of lies and deceit that has occurred in the governmental systems throughout the world. The Lord will use this time to align nations for the judgement of the last days.
The mantle of Jeremiah is falling on prophetic intercessors as a shift in prayer and travailing has hit the earth, to cry out for God's people to be protected from the persecution that has come.
Nebuchadnezzar, who was chosen by God, was a sign to the people of God that judgement had come and it began in the house of the Lord. In 2 Chronicles 36:17-20 the word of God says,
“Therefore, he brought upon them the King of the Chaldea, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age, he gave them all into his hand. And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon. And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof. And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon, where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the Kingdom of Persia.”
I saw great shakings all over the world, awakening God's holy people back to prayer. To cry out for captives to be set free from the Babylon systems that have a stronghold on them.
Watch for prophetic change signals and signs in this season as never before. Prophetic change signals were signs that Jesus taught his disciples to observe during end times. We will see shifts in the elements, the sky and current events. Change in human affairs, political shifts, prominent families, and leader shifts will all confirm prophecy that was spoken and will come to pass.
Fires and floods will be a great sign of God to remind us of that the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah are upon us. The Lord is purging and purifying our lives while preparing us for the outpouring of His glory. Many will watch in awe as these things unfold and realize that our God is King and Savior after all.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all day long, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded. that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, or depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35-39)
