I was noticing an utter lack of understanding on the part of the masses when it came to judging the prophetic and an utter lack of training and abuse when it came to many (though not all or most I dare say) who prophesy, therefore I wanted to create a series to help us - prophets and receivers of prophetic ministry - judge our motives and words more carefully. Many years ago during a Main Event Camp meeting, I preached my first illustrated sermon, illustrating one of four levels of the Word of God in which the average believer is walking. I illustrated the message using four types of cutting instruments.
“You must do what the writing tells you to do.” As Christians, true Christians, Believers in the Word of God as written, we know that, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God,'” (Matthew 4:4). The Word of God is our Living Bread, the sustenance of our very lives. And yet liberals and non-Believers, even those who dare to call themselves Christians and theologians, do their darnedest to discredit the Word of God.
The Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, will never lead you astray from the Word of God. The Spirit of God is in concert with the Son of God--Who is the Word of God--and the Son and Word of God is in concert with Father-God. They are one. Not one of Them is independent of the Other.
The following is an excerpt from Understanding the Purpose and Power of Woman by the late, yet never forgotten, Dr. Myles Munroe. It's really a shame that we have become so depraved in our thinking as a society and civilization that we have to teach grown people the painfully obvious differences between a man and a woman, male and female. Bruce Jenner is attempting to be a woman. People are now attempting to de-program school children of various ages to teach that there is no such thing as gender. And without a the moral foundation of the Word of God, moral relativity runs rampant and anything goes. Who cares if God says He only created male and female if you don’t believe in God or His Word to begin with? What seems and frankly is utterly simple truth is now considered groundbreaking to some and bigoted intolerance to others. But allow me to share the words of this great, passed prophet with you.
I’ve just started reading RePresent Jesus by Dharius Daniels and WOW. I mean, WOW. This book is challenging, NOT for the faint of heart. And it’s certainly got me thinking. The book deals with Christlikeness and each chapter deals with a different virtue. The second chapter, which I’m on, deals with “Jesus and Truth.”
You may have heard me say this before, but for the benefit of this post, I’ll say it again: there are some SHOCKING similarities between Islam and Mormonism. And apparently, I’m not the first one to come to this conclusion. Kinda makes you wonder where the (false) prophet, Joseph Smith, REALLY got his stuff from huh? But let’s just jump straight to the truth about these two great deceptions that are Islam and Mormonism. Diving in.
